Plant Stakes
If you have often thought about growing your own vegetables, but are concerned that a vegetable patch will take up too much time, think again. With the Veggie Cage, maintaining a vegetable patch has never been simpler thanks to our flexible and springy
plant stakes. In fact, our
plant stakes have become so popular that they have changed the lives of thousands and our the brilliantly designed
plant stakes will hold the plants side by side, rather than allowing the plants to grow in every direction. The purpose of the
plant stakes is to give your garden a little guidance and direction and all that is needed to achieve this is to tuck the main branches of the plant directly into the coils of the
plant stakes, as soon as they have reached the height of the
plant stakes' coils. Once this has been done, gardeners will only need to check on their plants on a weekly basis to ensure that no stray branches are growing out of the Veggie Cage's rings and if this does happen, the stray branches need simply be tucked into the coils of the
plant stakes. Simple and easy, and the fuller the plant becomes, the better as the branches will be trained to grow within the confines of the
plant stakes. Since the innovative
plant stakes keep the bushes growing in one direction, less space will be needed for a vegetable garden and the
plant stakes are the ideal choice for smaller sized gardens.
The Veggie Cage Company began in 2003 and our mission from inception was to create items which allowed the enthusiastic and the not-so-enthusiastic gardener to enjoy the rewards offered by a veggie garden. The plant stakes were founded by the Pallie family, who had a thriving vegetable garden and the plant stakes were created when the family realized that there had to be an easier way than tying up each plant, or there had to be a better product that the unattractive metal cases which were used before plant stakes were invented. To this end, Veggie Cage's plant stakes were designed and developed and although the first plant stakes were used for tomato plants, it soon became clear that the plant stakes could be used successfully for the growing of a number of other plant species. After the success of the plant stakes, Veggie Cage went on to create the tomato ring, a ring that is used by both commercial and home tomato growers.
