How the Tomato Ring Works
We know many of our repeat customers who’ve used the Veggie Cage are wondering what’s different about Veggie Cage LLC’s Tomato Ring and exactly how does the Tomato Ring work.
Here at the Veggie Cage Company, we knew we had a pretty tall order to fill when we decided to redesign the Tomato Ring after coming out with such an amazingly effective garden tool. But the Veggie Cage Tomato Ring’s new design is not that much different. We essentially reshaped the ring from a circle to an oval, to allow the branches on your plants to move and climb a little more naturally and to allow the Tomato Ring to support even more weight by keeping the plant closer to the tomato stake. Designed specifically for growing tomatoes, the heavy duty Tomato Ring is made of galvanized spring steel and is the best tomato support on the market. With the new Tomato Ring you get the best of both a cage and a stake, and you can say goodbye to all that tedious tying and retying throughout the growing season.
The Tomato Ring offers growers of all levels the joyful convenience of getting the needed support of a cage and the height and stability of a stake for their tomatoes, without the bulk of those standard metal cages.
Use with Round or Square Stakes
The Veggie Cage Tomato Ring is a durable, easy to use cage on a stake! Please take a look at the Video on the top left column of this page and you will see exactly what you need to do to get growing!
We’ve made the Veggie Cage Tomato Ring everything you need in a solid veggie support:
- Strong and durable
- Holds large tomato plants with clamping, not tying
- Very easy to use
- Small space for storage
- Fits all typical support stakes
- Absolutely no tying needed
You can use one, two or three Veggie Cage Tomato Rings on your plants, depending on their size or expected size. All you need to do to get going is to simply secure the first ring around the stem of your plant, about 1 foot off the ground. As your plants grow, you’ll want to make adjustments. All this requires you to do is simply move the top ring up as your plant grows. It is that easy. Most tomato plants will need 3 rings.
The Veggie Cage Tomato Ring is sold in sets of six and makes it possible for gardeners of all levels to yield the tallest, healthiest tomatoes possible, while avoiding the hassles of having to constantly tie and stake plants as they grow.
